TILLI Winter Session: Boston Symphony Orchestra Concert

Join TILLI at the Boston Symphony Orchestra on March 7 for a special program featuring South Korean conductor, Eun Sun-Kim making her debut with three pieces. Inon Barnatan, on piano, returns to the hall with one of Bartok’s final works, the Third Piano Concerto. This is a love letter to his wife and his home country. Bartok’s health was failing while he was living in poverty in New York after fleeing from the Nazis into Hungary. His creativity was slowed down from his long illness. This end of life concerto is more gentile and poetic than his other works. Also featured are Liadov’s The Enchanted Lake and Rachmaninoff’s third symphony. It’s an event not to be missed!
