Riverway Project for 20s & 30s

Home Adult Engagement Find Your Niche Riverway Project for 20s & 30s

The Riverway Project is an inclusive, collaborative community for those in their 20s and 30s who want to connect with others grounded in Judaism, social justice, spirituality, and learning. No matter where you are on your Jewish journey, we’re excited to get to know you!

What We Offer

Spiritual Connection

The Jewish holidays help us keep a sacred time by marking the cycles of the year and providing space for rest, reflection, and memory. Our services are open to all who want to participate and feature a mixture of Hebrew and English, combining prayer and song with memory and meditation.

Learning

Each month, we gather together in a variety of settings to study ancient and modern Jewish texts that bring meaning to our contemporary lives. No Hebrew experience necessary and all are welcome!

Social Opportunities

There are so many other ways to get involved in the Riverway Project outside of Shabbat services. From social justice opportunities to cooking classes to book clubs, we offer so many ways to connect with other 20s/30s with similar passions and interests.

What We're Hearing

Isaac Newsome

“The Riverway Project gave me a home at Temple Israel that I never thought I could find anywhere. Everyone is very welcoming, and I truly have rebuilt a lasting connection to Judaism through the Riverway Project.”

Dan Marion

“On top of Shabbat, there are so many other ways to get involved—interfaith work, cooking classes, text studies. I've met new people while connecting to the things I've always loved about Judaism—the food, stories, prayers, and impulse toward justice.”

Beth Kaiserman

“Riverway has been an amazing pillar during the past year—providing fun (and varied!) events, spaces for reflection, and plenty of smiles. It's so important having a welcoming place to connect and feel supported. I always look forward to seeing what's next!”
