The month leading up to the High Holy Days offers us the opportunity to assess the ways in which we have – or have not – lived up to our ideals over the past year, and to identify ways in which we would like to “return” to our best selves in the year to come. We do this work by looking inward, in conversation with others, and engaging with important issues in our world.
In small groups, we will gather 10-12 congregants who commit to attending four sessions of meaningful conversation, relevant learning, and relational connections. Each group is lay-led and open to members of the Temple Israel community. We ask that you join with your cameras on so you can be visible to your group.
Groups include: Congregational Read – How to be an AntiRacist, Spiritual Book Group – This is Real, Poetry Group, The Holy Day Spice Cooking Experience, Elul Podcast Group, Spiritual Fitness Group, and Shabbat Dinner Conversation Groups. Read more and register below. Please contact Rabbi Gubitz or Nicole Zador with questions.
