All too often, prayer feels like an event we are attending, rather than something personal we are experiencing. Prayer is not meant to be a spectator sport. The Spiritual Practice Lab is a space to learn and discover your most meaningful spiritual voice from a variety of practices within Jewish ritual life.
This January, we are offering four small-group conversations to help us to ask and answer important questions about our personal practice. Help us imagine how we might join together for new spiritual adventures in the year to come. All groups will be co-facilitated by a member of our clergy and a lay leader. After the conversations, we will have the opportunity to reflect and shape the Spiritual Practice Lab at Temple Israel.
