Witness a lush and soaring romance when artistic director Loretta Greco creates a brand new production of this Tony-Award-winning musical written by Craig Lucas with music and lyrics by Adam Guetell and based on the novella by Elizabeth Spencer. Protective American mother Margaret brings her daughter Clara abroad for a glimpse of Italy’s romantic history. A real life attraction sparks between Clara and Florentian Fabrizio. Margaret struggles to reconcile her hopes for her daughter's future and her deep concerns about the match.
