Shiva: Poems of October 7 with Rachel Korazim
Join us for a powerful exploration of Shiva: Poems of October 7, a bilingual anthology that captures the raw emotions of Israelis in the wake of October 7th. Featuring 59 Hebrew poems alongside their English translations, this collection gives voice to grief, rage, and resilience, showcasing the healing power of words in the face of unimaginable loss. Proceeds from the anthology’s sales support the Israel Trauma Coalition, providing aid to victims of October 7th and its aftermath.
We are honored to welcome the editor Rachel Korazim, a Jewish education consultant specializing in Israel and Holocaust education. Rachel is celebrated for her innovative presentations that bring Israeli society to life through its stories, poems, and songs. Her thought-provoking talks offer a unique window into Israel’s history and culture, inspiring audiences worldwide to engage with its complexities in new and meaningful ways.
