Introduction to Path to Well-being: Virtual Mental Health Support for the Jewish Community
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is one of the most well-studied, effective treatments for anxiety, depression, and related disorders. Path to Well-Being is a no-cost program that provides access to a digital CBT program that teaches skills to cope with strong emotions more effectively with the support of a CBT coach. This presentation will introduce the Path to Well-Being program, share some data on how well it works, and answer any questions you may have. Join us online on April 8th at 7:00 p.m.
Yasmin Lotan, Temple Israel's new Community Support Liaison from Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) will moderate the program. JF&CS, in partnership with Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), is providing a Community Support Liaison to the Temple Israel of Boston community at no cost to you. A Community Support Liaison is a trained social service professional serving as short-term support to Temple Israel of Boston congregants — helping you locate resources, offering coaching, and providing referrals — in addition to hosting 1–2 monthly mental health and wellness workshops and support groups focused on specific, emerging needs.
