Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus Meeting (TIPIC)
Join us for this upcoming meeting of the Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus (TIPIC) on Thursday, April 4, from 7:00—8:30 p.m. TIPIC continues to invite your input and participation. This upcoming meeting will be mixed presence with options to participate online via zoom or onsite at Temple Israel. We will be joined by Henry Santoro, news anchor and host at GBH News in Boston for the last in our series on how the press is covering the Israel-Hamas War. Throughout his 30 years as a morning anchor at the alternative rock station, WFNX, Santoro has delivered coverage of many of the most significant news stories of the era, beginning with the AIDS crisis in the early 1980s and leading to the 9/11 attacks, the first election of Mayor Menino, and the presidential election of Barack Obama. He has interviewed cultural and political personalities including Andy Warhol, Mitt Romney, Allen Ginsberg and Yoko Ono, and has a deep connection to local news and community events in Boston. He also taught radio and journalism courses at Emerson College as an adjunct professor.
