Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus Meeting (TIPIC)
Join us for this upcoming meeting of the Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus (TIPIC) on Thursday, February 1, from 7:00—8:30 p.m. We will continue our discussion of how the press is covering the war in Israel-Gaza, and hear from Rachelle Cohen, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in editorial writing for 2021 and a member of the Boston Globe Editorial Board for the past five years. She previously served as editorial page editor of the Boston Globe and earlier in her career was a reporter for the Associated Press. Cohen has traveled on assignment to Israel, Nicaragua, and Kosovo. She continues to work under the auspices of the State Department on issues related to judicial transparency, free press and anti-corruption in Uzbekistan and North Macedonia.
TIPIC continues to invite your input and participation. This upcoming meeting will be mixed presence with options to participate online via zoom or onsite at Temple Israel.
