Progressive Israel Caucus Meeting
Temple Israel’s Progressive Israel Caucus
How are attitudes of the next generations already shaping actions on the intractable situation in Israel/Palestine?
TIPIC invites you to attend the third and final TIPIC meeting of the series,’ Hearing from Younger Generations’ on Thursday, December 14, at 7:00 pm at Temple Israel.
Our guests for this monthly open meeting are two remarkable young women, post college, with roots in our own congregation. They will share with us their stories of different kinds of involvement with the Palestinian advocacy group ‘If Not Now,’ and how that organization and other factors helped in developing their individual and collective perspectives on the current state of affairs in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank.
The discussion will be enlightening, and may shake up some of you own perceptions. We are glad for another opportunity for us to discuss together the thorny issues here as we have been doing recently. If you are able to attend in person, you will better enjoy the personal contact with these articulate young people who, after all, are the ones who will be dealing with these issues in the future.
Coffee and tea will be available. Feel free to bring cookies etc to share if you wish.
Register here to join us onsite or online on Thursday, December 14, to hear the perspectives of these young women and join in the important ongoing discussion.
