Rosh Chodesh is the monthly holiday that celebrates the arrival of the new moon, marking the start of a new month in the Jewish calendar. This spring, as part of our Spiritual Practice Lab, we will celebrate the three months of the spring tekufah (season) with three Rosh Chodesh gatherings of music and Torah, led by Cantor Alicia Stillman and Yaakov Ginsberg-Schreck.

Join us on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the atrium of Temple Israel of Boston as we welcome the new moon of Nisan, the Hebrew month that kicks off the season. Nisan is best known for its full-moon holiday of Passover. With song, dance, meditation, and journaling, we'll celebrate the first signs of spring, and the promise of short-sleeved freedom to come!

This Rosh Chodesh gathering is free and open to all. RSVPs requested but not required. Contact McKenzie Johnson at mjohnson@tisrael.org with questions.
