A REDI Conversation is a relational opportunity for Temple Israel congregants to connect with one another and engage in conversations with the goal of fostering a culture of belonging at TI. With the leadership of Senior Rabbi Elaine Zecher and lay leaders, in January 2021 the Board of Trustees issued a statement of commitment to Antiracism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The Board updated that commitment earlier this year. Its statement made clear that the part of our mission, "Living Judaism Together through...righteous impact,” “means that we work actively as a community to combat racism, bigotry, bias, fear, ignorance, and hatred in our own Temple…and ensure that each individual and group is included and treated equitably.” As part of Temple Israel’s REDI culture shift, we seek to engage as many congregants as possible in REDI Conversations, and we invite you to join us. This REDI Conversation is designed for everyone, whether you have taken part in a REDI Conversation previously or not. It will take place onsite only.
