Have You Voted Yet in the World Zionist Congress Election?
We have the opportunity to make a difference in Israel in support of our values as American Reform Jews. The election for the World Zionist Congress, now underway, is a rare chance to lift up Reform Judaism. By voting for the Reform slate in this election, you will influence how billions of dollars are spent over the next five years. We can help ensure that the Reform movement in Israel and around the world will receive impactful funding. When you VOTE REFORM, your vote:
- sends Israeli emissaries to camps of the Reform Movement in the US;
- supports LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, and other human rights in Israel;
- helps to guarantee equal treatment in Israel of all streams of Judaism;
- and so much more.
A strong representation of Vote Reform in the World Zionist Congress election will help protect fundamental rights for all Israelis and ensure support for Reform communities in Israel. It will also help prevent extremist factions from implementing policies that oppose our core values of democracy, freedom, pluralism, and security. These factions would reject Reform conversions, question the Jewish identity of our children, strip Israeli Reform clergy and communities of their rights and funding, advance anti-democratic policies, and roll back gains for LGBTQ+ rights.
