Join us for an afternoon at the theater to see Adieu Monsieur Haffmann, produced by the French Theatre Project. Performed in French with English subtitles, this internationally acclaimed drama transports us to Paris, 1942, where Jews are forced to wear the yellow star. As the Nazis tighten their grip, Jewish jeweler Joseph Haffmann makes a desperate pact with his employee Pierre Vigneau—handing over his beloved shop in exchange for shelter. But Pierre’s shocking condition in return forces all three characters to confront questions of survival, morality, and the unthinkable choices people make in the darkest times.

Written and directed by Jean-Philippe Daguerre and winner of four Molière Awards in 2018, Adieu Monsieur Haffmann is a powerful, thought-provoking play you won’t want to miss.

Register to join us on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. Cost: $40/ticket. Please note tickets are not refundable for this program. The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 22. Contact cajl@tisrael.org with questions.
