Temple Israel has long embraced this work, including serving as a vaccine site during the early days of COVID-19. Join us to hear from members on the front lines of shifting U.S. healthcare policies and funding that threaten access, affordability, equity, research, and public health programs. We will walk away equipped with accurate information as well as actions we can do to make a difference.

Panelists include Dr. Benjamin Sommers who served in the Biden administration as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health Policy, Dr. Eric Smith, a leading cancer researcher at Dana Farber, and a third doctor who is a pediatrician. The panel will be moderated by Jamie Merrill, Director of the Institutional Review Board at Boston University.
