“How has Oct. 7 and Gaza affected your connection to Israel and to Judaism?”

At TIPIC’s third annual intergenerational event, we will hear from three panelists in their 20’s and 30’s, who will explore this question followed by a Q – A in which your participation is important.

Ari Zimmet, an alum of TI’s religious school and RYFTI, taught in TI’s teen program “The Tent” for five years while being an RYFTI advisor. Ari is now a clinical social
worker at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Michaela Schwartz, also an alum of Temple Israel’s religious school and RYFTI, was on the RYFTI and NFTY boards, attended URJ Eisner Camp, and is now an educator and writer living in Brooklyn, NY.

Peri Barest grew up in Temple Beth Avodah in Newton, attended Solomon Schecter Day School and now works at MGH in clinical research in psychiatry. She is the youngest member of our group and the youngest member by far of the newly formed M-SNIP (Massachusetts Synagogue Network for Israel Palestine).

Register to join us onsite or online on February 24 at 7:00 p.m. For questions about registration, contact us at cajl@tisrael.org.
