Flamenco is a vibrant musical culture emanating from the beautiful land of Andalucia. While part of the Iberian peninsula, this region has a unique history that is closely connected to the Middle East and the three Abrahamic religions.

In this "Lunch and Learn" we will learn about how cross-cultural fertilization over the centuries gave flamenco its signature style including the contribution of Spanish Jewry.

Michaela Harari has a Bachelor of Arts in Early Modern European History. She has been dancing and teaching flamenco for over almost 3 decades in Jerusalem where she introduced flamenco art to wide audiences.
