Join La Colaborativa For Their Holiday Food and Toy/Clothing
Join La Colaborativa's Holiday food bank and fair on Saturday, Dec 20th. Please celebrate Shabbat with us onsite for morning services and Torah Study before participating in this Shabbat justice opportunity in Chelsea. The program will run until 4PM and you may join at any time, with a request of fulfilling at least two hours of volunteering.
There will be two types of volunteer jobs available
#1 Volunteering in the food distribution line (outdoors)
#2 Volunteering inside at the "Christmas fair."
For donations, they are asking for new and gently used coats/hats/gloves and NEW toys and books. Toys and books should be unwrapped so that the kids can see what they are picking out. Any donations need to have arrived by 12/19 so it can be set up for the fair on the 20th.
They will also have some other fun festive things like food and drinks inside the Christmas fair.
