Engaging with conflicts is one of life’s defining challenges—particularly when faced with diverse histories, ideologies and narratives. Join us as we build our foundational knowledge and track the disparate historical narratives of major moments during the creation, establishment and development of the modern state of Israel. Together we will explore multiple perspectives and narratives on the conflict through the examination of primary sources, we will apply diverse frames of understanding to the Arab-Israeli and Israeli-Palestinian conflicts and have opportunities to practice receptiveness and respectful discourse around contemporary issues. We are looking to build an intentionally diverse cohort of adult learners who are ready to engage with curiosity. This course was created based on the pedagogic principles and curriculum of the I-Center's "Conflicts of Interest" Certificate Program.

Class Dates: November 9, November 23, December 7, 2025, February 1, February 8, March 15, and March 22, 2026
Time: 10:15 - 11:45 a.m. ET.
