Din Tesler is a survivor of the October 7, 2023 Nova Music Festival massacre, where he served as a security commander and risked his life to protect others during the Hamas attack. A former member of the Israeli Special Forces, Din helped attendees escape, guided people to safety, and endured nine hours hidden in a cactus grove before being rescued by Israeli soldiers. His best friend and childhood companion, Bar Kupershtein, was taken hostage that day and remains in captivity.

Since the attack, Din has become a powerful voice for remembrance, resilience, and advocacy. He has traveled across North America sharing his story, raising awareness about the ongoing hostage crisis, and calling for their immediate release. His strength in faith has become a powerful message to Jewish communities across the world, inspiring unity, hope, and moral clarity in the face of unimaginable violence.
