Temple Israel at Brookline Porchfest Saturday, September 27
Join the joyful sounds of the Temple Israel Choir as they bring their vibrant, community spirited music to Brookline Porchfest! For Brookline Porchfest, the choir, accompanied by acoustic guitar, will host all passersby in a rousing sing-a-long of the 1972 favorites from the album: Free To Be You and Me. Songsheets will be provided for all who wish to join their voice with ours, as we enjoy the sentimentality and aspirations of the music and poetry from that period of time. The message salutes the values of breaking stereotypes, individuality, and reaching for our dreams. Stop by and sing with us!
