Make Lunches For Those In Need
Join Tikkun Central’s Food Justice Team onsite at Temple Israel on Saturday, September 20 directly after Torah Study or TGIS (between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.). We will make bagged lunches for distribution by La Colaborativa and the Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center.
This will be an impactful intergenerational opportunity. We encourage you to start the morning with Shabbat morning services and Torah Study (9:00 AM) and/or TGIS (10:00 AM if you have an accompanying child 0-5 years old). If you're in the 20s-30s Riverway community, this event will be a part of Shabbat Slowdown.

Temple Israel holds a monthly bereavement group for all those who are currently struggling with a loss. This discussion group, facilitated by Rabbi
