Kayaking Through the Jewish Calendar with Riverway

Come paddle with us Saturday, September 6 at 5:00 p.m. as we do Havdalah the (Charles) River way! We'll gather for a community sunset ride and Havdalah ceremony on the water. Register by Thursday, August 28 to rent a kayak (single or double) at a discounted rate of $23. Or let Hannah know if you plan to bring your own kayak/canoe!
While we're out on the water, we’ll take time to reflect on the beauty of transition, both in nature and in our spiritual lives. Together, we'll explore what it means to stay connected to the Jewish calendar and, through it, the rhythms of the natural world. In preparation for the high holidays, we’ll learn a few simple practices to slow down, tune in, and deepen our connection to ourselves, our surroundings, and sacred time.
Make sure to register by Thursday, August 28 to reserve a single or double kayak for just $23 (discounted group rate).
Bringing your own kayak or canoe? Email Hannah to let us know!
No paddling experience is needed, as we will get an intro tutorial on paddling, and everyone renting will receive a life vest. If you are concerned about your paddling abilities, you can select a double kayak to be paired up with someone.
This gathering and the Riverway Project are for those in their 20s & 30s.
