In the wake of nearly two years of conflict, Israel faces a profound moment of reflection. This session explores where Israel is ‘at’—emotionally, socially, and culturally—and examines whether Israelis can navigate the complex mix of confusion, chaos, anger, and pride that has emerged. Join Uri Feinberg for a thoughtful conversation about the challenges of making sense of recent events and the ways individuals and communities are processing these experiences.

Uri Feinberg has been a Jewish educator for over 30 years, with experience spanning Israel, North America, and Europe. Born in the U.S. and raised in Jerusalem, Uri served in the IDF, earned a Master’s in Contemporary Jewish Studies from Hebrew University, and taught Jewish history to North American teens. A licensed tour guide since 1999, he has led heritage trips and lectured widely on Israel and Jewish identity. In response to the October Seventh war, Uri has been active in Israeli civil society and in supporting North American Jews to engage with the realities of Israel today. He lives in Modi’in with his family and is dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity, connection to Israel, and the power of shared understanding.
