TILLI Excursion to Tanglewood: Yo-Yo Ma, Pépin, Saint-Saëns, and Mendelssohn
Saturday, August 10 | Departure at 10:00 a.m. from Temple Israel
The Temple Israel Lifelong Learning Institute (TILLI) invites you to a special summer excursion to Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Participants will depart from Temple Israel by bus at 10:00 a.m. and travel to the Berkshires. Upon arrival, we will enjoy lunch before attending the afternoon performance: Yo-Yo Ma, Pépin, Saint-Saëns, and Mendelssohn, featuring the incomparable cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
Following the performance, the group will gather for dinner at a local restaurant.
The cost of the trip is $75 per person, which includes round-trip transportation and a ticket to the performance.
Please note that the cost of lunch and dinner is not included in the ticket price.
