Join us this Sunday, June 8 at 3:00 p.m. onsite for the culminating event of In Our Words, a powerful afternoon of music, poetry, and shared reflection. Over the past year, members of Temple Israel and Bethel AME have come together to build relationships across difference—sharing meals, experiences, and stories that deepen connection and understanding.

Now, we gather once more to celebrate that journey. Through original music and spoken word, In Our Words brings those stories to life, weaving a rich tapestry of voices shaped by love, struggle, joy, and hope.

Facilitated by the incredible Guy Mendilow, Regie Gibson (the first Poet Laureate of Massachusetts!), and their team of musicians, this final performance invites us to witness what’s possible when communities come together with open hearts.

All are welcome. Come be part of this meaningful moment. In the spirit of In Our Words, a portion of the afternoon's program will include brief ( +/- 90 seconds!) easy, fun, and safe story prompts to spark small group conversations that are honest, intimate, and alive.

You are invited to be as real as you can be — and also feel free to omit any details you wish not to share.
