Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus (TIPIC) Speaker Series: Women Wage Peace with Denise Stieglitz-Israel

Please join the Temple Israel Progressive Israel Caucus (TIPIC) online on Tuesday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. for our next Speaker Series event. Denise Stieglitz-Israel will introduce us to Women Wage Peace, the largest grassroots peace movement in Israel. Together with its Palestinian sister organization, Women of the Sun, Women Wage Peace empowers women from diverse communities to build trust across divides and amplify their demands for a diplomatic resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. These two organizations are non-partisan and do not support any specific solution to the conflict, rather they channel the collective voices and energy of their members to fight for change. The world is listening: Women Wage Peace and Women of the Sun were nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their efforts to build a lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
