Join TILLI (Temple Israel Lifelong Learning Institute) for a film screening and discussion of the 2008 film Milk.
This film explores the story of Harvey Milk and his struggles as an American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California's first openly gay elected official. Oscar winner, directed by Gus Van Sant.
We will watch the film together on Zoom, followed by a discussion led by TILLI member John Freeman about the central themes of the film.
