Riverway Shabbat: Chanukah Edition

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Chanukah!

The Riverway Project of Temple Israel invites you to join us for our once-monthly mixed presence Shabbat service & dinner. The Riverway Project is an inclusive, collaborative community for those in their 20s and 30s who want to connect with others grounded in Judaism, social justice, spirituality, and learning.

This month: Signature cocktails and mocktails, blind sufganiyot (jelly filled donuts) taste test from your favorite Boston donut shops, olive oil taste test, candle making, and more! 

Join us onsite or online for a relaxed, musical, Qabbalat Shabbat service led by Rabbi Andrew Oberstein and our incredible Riverway Musicians! For those joining us online, the livestream of our service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the livestream page at tisrael.org/livestream.

For those joining onsite we'll begin our evening with schmoozing some nosh at 7:00 p.m. before services beginning at 7:30 p.m., with dinner and drinks to follow. Our evening ends at 10:00 p.m.

This event and our community are open to all. We are grateful to be able to offer Riverway Shabbat at no cost to those in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area. Please consider contributing so that we can serve the Riverway community all year long. We have options to donate at $9, $18, and $36 levels to support the creation of a musical and accessible experience!
