This half-day retreat for Tikkun Central leaders and engaged volunteers will focus on:
- Breaking down silos and identifying synergies in our work
- Identifying and articulating our deep motivations for social justice
- Drawing on Jewish spiritual practices for renewal
- Building stronger relationships and connections with each other
The retreat will be led by Rabbi David Jaffe and Dan Gelbtuch of the Inside Out Wisdom and Action (IOWA) Project, which focuses on the integration of Mussar and other forms of Jewish spiritual wisdom and the work of social change. This retreat will draw on teachings from Rabbi Jaffe’s award-winning book, Changing the World from the Inside Out, and IOWA’s new Dismantling Racism from the Inside Out project.
