Join us on for our second day trip as we explore Amherst, Mass. We will take a bus to the Yiddish Book Center, a 42 year old nonprofit which is devoted to recovering, celebrating and regenerating Yiddish literature and culture, where we will have a guided tour. After lunch, we will have an opportunity to visit The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, a champion for picture books that collects, preserves and exhibits original illustrations, for a self paced exploration. We will depart Temple Israel at 9:00 a.m. and return at approximately 5:00 p.m. The cost of the trip includes all travel expenses, admission fees and lunch. This program is open to all.
