Spiritually prepare for the Passover Seders by taking The Fours of the Passover Seder course! Each session delves into one set of four found in the Haggadah: cups, questions, children, and mothers, exploring different windows into the story of the Exodus from Egypt and its significance for us. This learning will guide you and a partner in a conversation with ancient sages and modern Jewish thinkers, looking at talmudic texts, hasidic commentaries as well as poetry and art. When we each arrive at our Seder tables this year, we will have contemplated ideas at the core of Pesach—liberation, Jewish pedagogy, diversity, and moral courage—and will have many pearls of wisdom to share with family and friends. This course uses Hadar's Zug model of pair-based learning and their online platform with texts, guiding questions, and short videos.

This course will meet in the six weeks leading up to Passover, including two sessions with Rabbi Suzie Jacobson and Rabbi Andrew Oberstein. The course kickoff learning session will take place onsite on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Please note that participants in this course meet independently with a partner, except for the opening and closing sessions.

Session 1: Onsite kickoff Tuesday, March 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. with Rabbi Suzie Jacobson and Rabbi Andrew Oberstein.

Session 2-5: Participants will meet once a week independently with their partners.

Session 6: Onsite Conclusion Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. at with Rabbi Suzie Jacobson and Rabbi Andrew Oberstein.
