Join us onsite at Temple Israel on Monday, July 24th, for a letter-writing luncheon to let voters in Ohio know what type of ID they should bring and what to do if they don’t have one.

If you are unable to join us at lunch, you can pick up letter packets to write at home and mail as soon as possible. Early voting has already started in Ohio for the August 8th election.

Please register to attend the letter-writing luncheon or to pick up letter packets to write at home.

Earlier this year Ohio enacted one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country, and the August 8th election will be the first since the new law went into effect.

The August 8th election will have far-reaching consequences. It includes an initiative that would make it harder for citizens to change the Ohio state constitution and to pass future ballot initiatives (such as one expected later this year regarding the right to reproductive decisions).
