Reconnect & Renew with Tikkun Central: Retreat Part 2
Share
This retreat, led by Rabbi David Jaffe and Dan Gelbtuch of the Inside Out Wisdom and Action (IOWA) Project, will feature two specific Jewish spiritual practices:
- Finding Good Points (from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov)
- Cultivating Bitachon/Trust (from Mussar: applied Jewish ethics)
For the first, we will learn Torah, try out the practice, and apply this wisdom to our social justice and anti-oppression work. For the second, we will draw from IOWA’s new anti-racism curriculum, Dismantling Racism from the Inside Out, focusing on the role that trust plays in developing anti-racist habits and supporting racial equity on a systemic level.
Special attention will be given to supporting Tikkun Central leaders in connecting across activity areas.
Registration required. You do not need to have attended Part 1 in order to participate in Part 2.
This event is onsite only. Contact Tali Puterman at tputerman@tisrael.org with any questions.
