Temple Israel of Boston is a varied community that offers multiple options for involvement. Our larger gatherings are exciting and energizing, yet sometimes we seek more intimate spaces to get to know one another on a deeper level. Our Small Groups Initiative gathers members of our community who share common interests, identities, and curiosities. We offer both short-term and ongoing opportunities for connection, learning, and community-building.
What types of groups are available?
Our small groups are inspired by the diverse passions of our many community members. Previous opportunities to gather have included groups focusing on music, cooking, holiday observance, choosing Judaism, social justice issues, and processing our relationship with Israel.
How do I get involved?
If you are interested in gathering a segment of our community around an area of passion of yours, reach out to Rabbi Andrew Oberstein.
