Shalom Cantor Einhorn: A Celebratory Year

Shalom Cantor Einhorn: Celebratory Year 5780 (January - June 2020)

December 13, 2018

Ecclesiastes wrote: To everything there is a season…a time to laugh and a time to cry…

Our beloved Cantor Einhon will complete his long and distinguished service to Temple Israel of Boston and will retire on June 30, 2020. Cantor Einhorn has brought integrity, kindness, compassion, and a profound sense of professionalism to every task. We have benefited from his presence, musical artistry, and humor in everything he has done. He is loved by countless B’nei Mitzvah students and their families, children in the FJECC Preschool who storm the bima to hug him, and everyone who has sung in his choir or played in the band. His presence at thousands of life cycle events has brought comfort and joy. Throughout the year, we will honor Cantor Einhorn with programs that illustrate what he has meant to each of us.

Honoring Cantor Einhorn's Legacy

Join us as we make a commitment to creating a lasting legacy in celebration of Cantor Roy B. Einhorn, who has brought the joy of music to Temple Israel for 37 years. We honor Cantor Einhorn’s years of service and long-lasting commitment to music and the cantorate at Temple Israel.

We invite you to enable us to designate resources so that we may ensure that the same connection and engagement with music that has shaped our congregation will flourish for generations to come.
