Dear Temple Israel community and devotees of our Cantor,
Ecclesiastes wrote: To everything there is a season…a time to laugh and a time to cry…
This past Spring, we wrote you to let you know that our beloved Cantor will retire June 30, 2020. Though it makes us sad, we also know that there is much to celebrate. Now that his retirement is 18 months away, we have a lot of celebrating and honoring to plan and experience.
The purpose of this letter is to involve those interested to help organize and prepare for some wonderful moments that year. We have a general outline, but there are many details still to plan. We also want to make you aware of some important dates.
