Our mission of living Judaism together is at the core of everything we do. One of the most crucial aspects of this mission is praying together.
We invite you to join us onsite for any of the service options listed below. While onsite, we support optional masking.
If you are unable to come into our building, our community has invested in being able to experience the life of the congregation together in mixed presence, onsite and online.

Community-Wide Sanctuary Service: One Service Offered Twice
We return this year on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in mixed presence, onsite and online, where we can sing, rejoice, and pray as one sacred community. Both evening and morning Sanctuary worship services are a joyous combination of our majestic and contemporary styles. We are a vibrant tapestry of sweeping poetry and beautiful music, instruments and voices; we are both transcendent and immanent; we are Temple Israel; we are one. One service, offered twice.

Riverway Project Services (20s & 30s)
For those in their 20s or 30s looking for a dynamic, inclusive, uplifting way to begin the year, join The Riverway Project on Erev Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre as we welcome 5784 both onsite and online. As a community of young adults, we will pray and sing, making connections with our tradition and with each other as we move into a fresh new year together. Spread the word to any young adults in your life who might want to join us.

3rd – 7th Grade Family Experience
Kids in 3rd – 7th grade and their families are invited to join Temple Israel clergy and musicians for joyful, music-filled, and interactive services in celebration of the new year. If you are not able to join us onsite, there will be the option to livestream family services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
On Erev Rosh Hashanah, join us at 6:30 p.m. for a Family Shmooze with dinner to meet old friends and new. Then we will all participate in the Community-Wide Service, a meaningful and uplifting moment to kick off the High Holy Days all together.

0 – 2nd Grade Village and Young Families
Calling all children ages 0 – 2nd grade and their grownups! Get ready to sing, dance, and play as we celebrate together with Temple Israel clergy and special guests. On Erev Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre, join us for early evening services. On Erev Rosh Hashanah, stay after the service for a Young Family dinner and shmooze. Then on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings, join us for a service followed by a snack, story, and crafts.

Tickets
Tickets are required for all onsite High Holy Day services except for S’lichot, the Shofar Experience, Lay-Led Rosh Hashanah Day 2 service, and the “Between Services” learning sessions on Yom Kippur afternoon.
Tickets for Temple Israel Members
Tickets based on previous service preference times will be mailed to members in good standing on a rolling basis this summer.

Tickets can be purchased by completing this form. Please contact tickets@tisrael.org for more information.
Participating Online via Zoom (for Community-Wide services)
Links to Zoom services will be emailed to Temple Israel members in good standing, early in the morning before the start of each service. If you can’t find the link, please contact us at 617-566-3960.
Livestream Services (for all service options)
All our services are available via livestream and open to the public, accessible on our website.
For a full mixed presence experience, members in good standing are invited to participate by Zoom (for the Community-Wide services only).

If you are unable to attend services at Temple Israel and would like to secure reciprocal tickets to a fellow URJ congregation, or if you are a member of a URJ congregation and would like to attend services at Temple Israel, please do one of the following:

Tickets for Riverway Services (20s/30s)
We are grateful to be able to offer our Riverway Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre services at no cost to those in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area. Registration is required for each service:
Tickets for Young Family Services (Ages 0 – 2nd Grade)
Families with children 2nd grade and under may register for tickets to our onsite High Holy Day services at no cost. Young Family services are also livestreamed on our website.
