v’tsivanu l’hadlik ner shel Chanukah

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of all, who hallows us with mitzvot,

commanding us to kindle the Chanukah lights

Come light the Menorah
Let’s have a party
We’ll all dance the Horah

Gather around the table
I’ll give you a treat
Sevivon to play with
And latkes to eat

And while we are playing
The candles are burning low
One for each night
They shed a sweet light
To remind us of days long ago
