Join us on Thursday Evening, April 23rd for an online charity poker tournament to help support Temple Israel’s Friends Annual Fund. While we’re not yet able to gather in person, why not gather with your TI friends and family in a fun and different way?
The tournament will be run by TI member David Paredes, a professional poker player and World Poker Tour Champion with over $2.5 million in tournament earnings.
How it will work:
- Make a fully tax deductible $100 donation to the Friends Annual Fund to receive a participation code. In the memo field, write “charity poker game”
- Once we receive your donation, we will send you a receipt along with instructions for downloading the Pokerrrr2 application, setting up your user information, and accessing the special Temple Israel poker room.
- On April 23rd, at 7:00pm David will conduct an online tutorial via Zoom. The tournament will begin at 7:30.
- The tournament will be a $100 No Limit Texas Hold’em freezout with unlimited rebuys for the first 80 minutes. If you bust out and wish to play again within the first 80 min, simply click rebuy, and for an additional $100 donation to Temple Israel, you will be allowed to stay in the game. The tournament will be played down to one winner.
The winner will have their name engraved on the coveted Temple Israel Poker trophy, and have bragging rights for a year! This game is intended for an adult audience and does not offer real money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or prizes. All proceeds will go directly to the Friends Annual Fund.
