Housing Justice Teach-In: Focus on Massachusetts Public Housing

With the leadership of tenants, GBIO came together over the past year in Boston and in Brookline to improve safety and liveability in some of our long-neglected state-owned public housing. We have learned that the need is state-wide, that there is much more to do, and that the time is now.

This online Teach-In will offer you, along with friends from Sinai Brookline and Temple Beth Zion, the opportunity to:

• Voice your concerns with housing affordability and your appetite for justice in the public housing arena
• Hear from a GBIO tenant leader about living in public housing and working through GBIO to make improvements and from a GBIO housing ally about the impact and possibilities of working together for change
• Learn what’s needed, what the political opportunity is, and how you can help determine the action
