Tisha B'Av is known as the saddest, lowest point in the Jewish calendar. And yet, it has historically been a point of contention within the Reform movement.

Join Rabbi Andrew Oberstein online on Thursday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET to learn about the origins of the holiday, how it's observed, why some people choose to ignore it, and how reclaiming this day could bring meaning to our contemporary lives.

This online event is free and all are welcome. Please register to get the Zoom link. Contact Brigid Goggin at bgoggin@tisrael.org with questions.

We also invite you to join us on Saturday, August 6 for our Tisha B'Av Community Service.
