Feeling stuck, stymied, or simply entirely spent? We hear you. To say the least, these are remarkably sticky times. Thankfully, the Jewish people have the wisdom of our ancestors, gleaned through their own difficulties, directing our gaze each new month to the new moon. Rosh Chodesh is the monthly holiday that celebrates the arrival of the new moon, marking the start of a new month in the Jewish calendar. Like a glowing "reset" button in the sky, Rosh Chodesh is a chance, no matter where we are, no matter who we are, to begin anew.

Please join us the evening of Rosh Chodesh for the month of Av on Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 pm in the Temple Israel courtyard for shared sunset, sacred circle, and easy ritual — held by Cantor Stillman, and guest ritualist Yaakov Ginsberg-Schreck — as we open this new chapter in the sky, and in our lives.

This Rosh Chodesh gathering is free and open to all. No registration required. Contact Brigid Goggin at bgoggin@tisrael.org with questions.
