Yom Kippur is the Jewish day of atonement. This community-wide service is an expansive morning service, deepening the themes of the High Holy Days: t’shuvah (forgiveness), t'filah (self-reflection), tzedakah (acts of justice). The Torah reading on Yom Kippur morning, marked by a melody unique to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur morning alone, contains the beautiful words from parashat N'tzavim in Deuteronomy — the message reaffirming that we all stand as one on this day, and the sacred words and lessons that unite us through Torah are not beyond our reach, for we stand reaching towards them together.

For this service, we are together in mixed presence, onsite and online.

We kindly ask you to wear a mask in our building.
  • Tickets are required for all onsite High Holy Day services except for S’lichot.
  • Links to participate on Zoom will be emailed to all TI members immediately prior to each holiday.
  • Our livestream services are open to the public, accessible on our website. For a full mixed presence experience, members in good standing are invited to participate by zoom.
  • See full details about celebrating the High Holy Days with Temple Israel of Boston, from S'lichot through Simchat Torah.
