Informational Session: The Partakers College Behind Bars Mentoring Program

Partakers Founding Director, Arthur Bembury, and active Temple Israel Partakers mentors discuss what it takes to serve as a College Behind Bars Mentor and the rewards to be gained. For 25 years, Partakers has worked to help reduce recidivism by promoting educational opportunities and providing community mentoring for incarcerated women and men. Through the College Behind Bars Mentoring Program, the powerful relationships that Partakers volunteers build profoundly impact the lives of the students, their families, their communities, and the mentors themselves. These relationships bridge communities, develop understanding and awareness, create transformative connections, change the trajectory of lives, and instill a sense of hope for a better future.
