About the Instructor: Lara Haft is a Jewish educator based in Jerusalem. Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Lara teaches Biblical, Rabbinic, and Modern Hebrew to students of all ages. As an undergraduate student at Duke University, they researched Hebrew Bible from an academic perspective, with a focus on gender studies. Since then, Lara has studied Torah at Hebrew College, Drisha, the Conservative Yeshiva, and the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. Currently, Lara is a fellow at Beit Midrash Har-El in Jerusalem and a (remote) Education Intern at Temple Israel.
