Pride Liberation Seder

June 13, 2024

06:00 PM - 09:00 PM EDT

The Pride Liberation Seder, held during Pride month, uses the model of the Passover Haggadah to tell the story of the liberation of the LGBTQ+ community. The Haggadah is adapted to provide queer history, explain the variety of queer symbols, and furnish a platform for people to tell their personal stories of their LGBTQ+ experiences. Everyone is welcome to attend!

We would love to have your stories included in our celebration! Share stories of your coming out, of your awareness of being queer - a few sentences or a couple of paragraphs. If you cannot attend, your stories can still be included in the printed version of our Pride Liberation Seder Haggadah. For more information, contact Andy Lesser-Gonzalez.

Join us on June 13th at 6:00 p.m. onsite. Register here by June 5. Contact cajl@tisrael.org with registration questions.

Sponsored by Temple Israel of Boston, Temple Sinai, Congregation Am Tikva, and Temple Beth Zion.
