Learn to Read Hebrew: Level 2

This online, beginner-level class is designed for anyone who knows the Hebrew alphabet and is looking to improve skills decoding words and building reading fluency. We will focus on Shabbat and holiday prayers and blessings and become familiar with reading from the siddur. This is a 7-session online class that meets on Zoom and is led by veteran educator Debbie Betesh. As a Jewish educator for 30+ years, Debbie takes lifelong Jewish learning very seriously and loves working with motivated adult learners who set aside time in their busy weeks to add Hebrew decoding/reading to their broad knowledge base.  When not teaching, Debbie loves to take long walks, read, and keep up with the comings and goings of her 6 adult children and 9 (and counting) grandchildren.
