Join Temple Israel’s Lifelong Learning Institute (TILLI) for a 6-week peer-led Study Group. These groups cover a variety of topics and are led by TILLI community members in both morning and afternoon sessions. This year, we offer the option to participate online or onsite. Morning Study Groups meet from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  • Writings from the Heart, with Robbie Apfel (onsite only)
  • Felix Mendelssohn: The "Noble Artist", with Paula Folkman (onsite only)
  • Understanding U.S. Healthcare Policy, with Jon Kingsdale (mixed presence - onsite or online)
  • Letters to Camondo by Edmund de Waal, with Peggy Morrison (mixed presence - onsite or online)

Afternoon Study Groups meet from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

  • Looking at Black Life in America, with Judy Herman (online only)
  • Choices and Consequences: From Bystanders to Saviors, with Joanne Tuck (online only)
  • Genes: The Interited Code of Life, with Barbara Koff (mixed presence - onsite or online)
  • The Solidarity Dividend: Next Steps in Anti-Racism, with Larry Koff and Bob Martin (mixed presence - onsite or online)
