Writing Letters as a Sacred Practice

Writing Letters as a Sacred Practice

with Vanessa Zoltan, Nondenominational Chaplain and Co-host of the podcast Harry Potter & the Sacred Text
Wednesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., starting December 4
Cost: $100 members; $140 non-members
When President Abraham Lincoln died, the story goes, they found a drawer full of letters he never sent. What are some letters that you never sent? What are letters you wish you had received? In this class, we will use Ira Byock’s four things you have to say to live well: “Please forgive me,” “I forgive you,” “Thank you,” and “I love you”. Each class will have time for discussion, time to write a letter, and time to read our letters aloud.

This class is open to everyone. Free parking available. Please contact Brigid Goggin at bgoggin@tisrael.org with any questions.
