Miriam’s Well is a space for connection. Each week, we gather for an all-levels, accessible-but-you’ll-still-feel-it, spiritually and anatomically informed Yoga practice led by senior teacher Evelyn (“Ducky”) Punch. The practice opens with a word of Torah from Yaakov, a rabbinical student at Hebrew College, and closes, for anyone who wants to join, with a warm community space, where we explore Jewish text and share our stories.
Miriam’s Well follows the Hebrew Calendar with 4-week cycles (and each class totally stands alone for a drop-in practice!). Themes for our time together, on and off the mat, vary with each new month. All are very welcome, across the spectrum of gender, sexuality, race, class, spiritual lineage (Jewish, or any other), age, and movement background. All types, all stripes — all stars. We’re glad you’re here.
If you have any questions about the movement practice or community/Torah time, Yaakov (yaakov.g-s@hebrewcollege.edu) would love to hear.
